It begins with a simple introduction meeting. A chat to get to know each other. We’ll hear about your hopes and challenges. And we’ll explain how we work. Does the fit feel right? Together we the develop the project brief, targets and schedule. We’ll agree meeting dates and key checkpoints in the process. Sometimes this is with an individual in your organisation, or maybe with a steering group. We may even work together to create a group of ‘Change Champions’ comprising of interested individuals in your company.
We’ll develop our designs from conceptual sketches through to detailed construction drawings and furniture schedules, all ready to send out for offers. The design goes through many iterations, with regular design reviews and workshops on the way, all preplanned and designed to keep the project on schedule and on budget.
Requests for Proposals are sent to construction companies, carpenters, lighting suppliers, and graphical and signage companies. Their offers are reviewed, suppliers chosen and orders placed. The suppliers then get to work preparing for construction works, and producing the material ready for installation works.
Construction often begins with some demolition work closely followed by the construction of new walls, kitchens and flooring. Regular construction team meetings check the progress. IT and AV teams jump in as soon as the construction work is done, with furniture, planting, curtains and graphics the final touch. Your space is ready!
