In this mini article you'll learn how we leveled-up from design excellence in a recent office design project. This article is taken from our social media post.
The Tacta chair from Passoni Design, designed by John Pawson
It was time for our long-term client Takeda Oy to move on from their current space in Ilmala, Helsinki.
But their impressive office space (designed by us in 2017) is well-loved by employees and functions well.
So how to create a new space that goes above and beyond their current level?
Layout, function and form are already established with high standards.
So how to go deeper with quality?
Our answer was to focus on materials and suppliers.
Not only selecting with style, quality and ecology in mind, but by identifying family businesses with an ethos that resonates with Takeda’s enduring values:
Values they’ve held throughout their 245 year history:
- Integrity
- Fairness
- Honesty and
- Perseverance.
The result is a space that is more than surface deep.
Where team work of communities can be felt through the essence of material and form.
